Default 316 Eleventh Avenue - 34-story Rental Tower - Far West Side - by Stephen B. Jacobs

I couldn't find a thread for this one, but it seems that construction is about to begin.

316 Eleventh Avenue
New York, NY

Levine Builders is providing construction management services for this new 369-unit luxury residential rental building located on Eleventh Avenue and 30th Street. This is in the recently established Special West Chelsea District, High Line Transfer Corridor. The exterior of the building will be architectural precast concrete panels with aluminum windows and window wall, and will include 4,000 square feet of retail at grade and 28,000 square feet of parking located on two levels. There will also be a 5,600 square foot rooftop terrace. The residential entrance will open upon a triple-height lobby space with an arcade that will connect the residential lobby with a retail gourmet café or restaurant. The second floor amenity space will include a lounge, fitness center, banquet room and an outdoor terrace.

316 Eleventh looks humongous when you walk by it along W 30th, but from out there in the river it looks like hardly anything at all.

Been ever so long since I've been on, but this building and the rockrose one on w37th are going up insanely fast. I honestly didn't know about them until about 3 weeks ago when they broke the the 10 story mark and stood out a little more. Now, this one looks either topped off or near it & the one on 37th is going up 3-5 stories a week, probably at 27th floor now (pics taken from 24th floor). Check it out...

It looks like it belongs on that side of the Hudson, too. Like somewhere in Joisey City or Hoboken.

Low-end reflective, wavy glass.

Just as I expected it would be for this project.

Yes, the photos don't convey how massive it looks in the area. Not an attractive building.
