    Probably his most famous, View of the World from 9th Ave was much imitated in the late 70s. It seems other cities wanted their own View of the World from..., but they all miss the point.

    Hee hee, when my sister was in freshman year of college, her roomate was a die-hard Texan who slept with a giant Lone Star flag above her bed. She may or may not have said something bad about New York, but the next time we visited Marisa we brought our copy of View Across the World From 9th Avenue for her to hang over her bed.
