Miraculously, The Sphere survived the terror attacks of September 11, 2001, its scarred and pitted surface an eloquent silent witness to the tragedy of that day. In this documentary, filmmaker Percy Adlon (SUGARBABY; BAGDAD CAFE), who made two prior films about Koenig, joins the sculptor five weeks after the attacks to view his monumental work amidst the rubble of Ground Zero.

Although I think it is cool, it is not miraculous that a giant hunk of metal "survived" the collapse. It would have been so if it had weathered it w/o a scratch, but otherwise this statement is just over-memento-ization of anything connected to 9-11.
