Bowery ballroom

When we come over in february i'm hoping to see a band at the Bowery ballroom but the wife isn't too keen,i'm trying to keep here sweet by taking her out for a meal etc but want to time it all in with a band,what I really need to know is what time approximately do the main bands come on at the Bowery and what times do they usually finish??I'm not particularly bothered about the support bands just the headliner!

Not sure what bands are playing, but the Bowrey is right close to teh 6 and F trains near Houston Street.

Try the link I sent you in your other thread asking about subways to see where.

As for food, there is a good German playce called Lorely a few blocks away (me and a friend went there before seeing Supergras Acoustic, and right before we left, in walked Supergrass...).

There is also a smaller place down the alley right at the end. No signs. It is one of those "Holles in the wall that everyone knows about" kind of spots.


As for who is playing at the Bowrey, try a Google of the name and you will probably get their website and band list for the next few weeks or so.

Thanks Ninjahedge,i'm gonna see Black rebel motorcycle club,i've seen them half a dozen times over here so should be a great experience to see one of my all time favorite bands in NY!

Finally booked my tickets,the guide says the gig is at the Webster hall,Bowery ballroom,is the Webster hall a part of the Bowery ballroom or is it in a completely different building/area???
