what deal.newyork pass or newyork city pass

Hi I am visiting nyc in april with my wife and 2 kids .We will be staying in manhattin for 7 nites .and we hope to see most of the main tourist sites.We are thinking of buying the newyork pass .
Just wondring if anyone out there has any views ideas hints or tips on any of these sight seeing packages etc

I'm going to NY too . 3 adults . I planned to buy the online 3-day Pass for S99 . Then, I went to each site, to check the prices : exactly the same -even if we go up the ESB twice- well - for us . So, I've given up . Some clues :
Empire St Bing : S 18
E S B Skyride : S 18
Statue of Lib + ell i = ferry = S11.5
My conclusion is that it's OK if U're hyper active , rushing around and a museum goer ; otherwise, no big deal. ( But U'll have to check on children's fees) .
Get some more advice though !
