Where in Manhattan is the best view of the Brooklyn Bridge?

I know you're all gonna say the best view is from Brooklyn, and I should walk the bridge, but I won't have time during my short visit.

Of course you can view it from the Manhattan side. You just don't get the Manhattan skyline as a backdrop. Head for the South Street Seaport and walk along the waterfront in that area.
