Meeting Spot at Port Authority?

I have a dumb question for this slow day. Does the Port Authority Bus Station have a meeting spot/landmark equivalent of the info kiosk/clock at Grand Central? I have to meet a friend from out of town there this weekend and I've never stepped foot inside the station (buses are gross).

Any ideas?

The buses are really god and fairly clean in NY.... compared to those in the UK, which have lots of litter, bottles rolling around while the bus is in motion, etc..... oh it gets worse, believe me.....

I took the bus across country a week after I graduated from college, so I speak from an informed place when I say buses are gross.

Frau- I'm not surprised you know a bar in a bowling alley at the bus station, so I'll have to take your suggestion.
