Of course it happens the day after my vacation in NYC ends :( It looks like a very interesting tour!! If someone goes, please post up your thoughts on it :)

Bernie,
Do the boats have open decks, similar to Circle Line boats? Once I took a trip and could not make any pictures, boat had plastic windows.

Gypsum Plant in Staten Island.

Military Ocean Terminal was taken over by the military in World War II and is now mostly closed. Still active is an enormous "graving dock," a dry-dock cut into land. In 1992, Queen Elizabeth 2, en route from Halifax, ran aground near Martha's Vineyard. She was brought here for emergency repairs.

Robbins Reef Lighthouse. The original stone lighthouse was built in 1883, replaced by the current cast iron one in 1933.
