I am a student at Columbia. You can share a flat for as little as $600/month near Columbia if you don't mind a small space. Most shares will cost more, and a nice place will cost much more.

Does foreigner pay for study in high school? If he pay, how much?

Can I take an extramural course of study at Columbia University? I want to study sinology.

Public high schools in NYC are free. However, unless you're living with a guardian, I'm pretty sure that foreign students are not allowed to attend.

Columbia does admit foreign students. Tuition is about $32,000 a year and room and board runs about $10,000.

I'm not sure what Sinology is.
