As the City section celebrates its 10th anniversary, a statistical portrait of New York then and now.
There's more parkland, and there are more buildings named Trump. There are fewer X-rated emporiums in Times Square, fewer foreign tourists and not a single Checker cab. By measures large and small, New York 2003 wears a far different face than it had when the City section made its debut.
