Long walks. Good thing I didn't walk the entire way, thankfully there was a parking spot on Willoughby Street.

4th Avenue

-President St - same building featured in last month's thread through a rainy windshield. This is the other side. (6 floors)

-Garfield Pl - More in Park Slope than Fort Greene. (5 floors)

-north of President St - I didn't know what this was, but after taking the picture the supervisor came over and introduced himself. He said he'd show me the plans if I wanted. But I just asked what it was going to be instead. He said it's a DEP project that has something to do with the water tunnel.

Same place - a line of new residences across the street, through the fence.

Metrotech

12 Metrotech Center - Haven't taken any pictures for a few months.

9 Metrotech Center South - preparing for occupancy, ground floor is nearing completion.

Federal Courthouse Eastern District - crane is finally gone.

Atlantic Avenue & vicinity

Atlantic Terminal - facade progressing. It's good overall, though the 'stone' parts of the mall section are noticeably fake.

Other developments

The municipal garage at Atlantic and Court is coming down. My contact lenses filled with dust promise you.

53 Boerum Place is still one floor. They've started putting up the cinderblock though.

Atlantic and I think Bond, give or take a street - excavation for a 10 floor residential building with a rather large footprint.

Atlantic and Hoyt - preparation for a 5 floor residential building.

No news about the Metrotech Galleria Tower?

Gallery at Metrotech ;)

No, it's still pretty early in the process. They're looking for tenants.

The borough hall is smaller but prettier than Manhattan's, like many things Brooklyn.

The courthouse looks good for a federal building.

I hate the stone veneer on Atlantic Terminal. I don't know why they bother.

Good stuff. Any shots of the 4th ave in Park Slope developments, or planned development?

No, that hasn't started yet. The Slopish one above is the closest I came.

By the way, I'd forgotten that I visited Light Bridges. It's as dead as it was half a year ago.

I think there are a couple new developments planned for DUMBO in addition, plus the Jehovah's might build a huge residential complex and sell off some buldings.

I hate cluttering up this thread, but one last photo, taken today of the 4Av&President building. Facade's going up on the back.

The construction of the Atlantic Terminal tower involves the renovation of the LIRR station itself, right?

Yeah, and the main entrance.
