I was more interested in the ground level/street activity around the building, and its classic look. *Although the WWF restaurant is no longer there ,that could be a good thing.

To think they spent a fortune to restore and enhance that awning... Tragic irony.

Back in the 40's ALL the big bands played the Paramount. You could see the Tommy Dorsey big band *on the same bill as Frank Sinatra. I'm glad they decided to restore it. The irony is really something, I agree...akin to rebuilding the grand staircase at the Tweed Courthouse.

Thumbs up for this building. Love the massing, and use of limestone. The only change I would make would be to replace the sodium-vapor floodlights with mercury-vapor or metal halide floodlights. The orange sodium-vapor light is garish and ugly.
