NYC Popping the big Q

Well my girlfriend and I are going to NYC in July! She's never been there. and I've been there a few times. I joined this site ages ago as you can tell and I was thinking about moving to the big apple. That never happened, but at-least I can get visit it every now and again. Anyway..

I am going to pop the big Q in Central Park. Thinking either on a Horse Carriage, Bow Bridge, or maybe somewhere else. Any suggestions? I want it to be like out a movie, something she'll never EVER forget.

ah crap im doing in July 15th. but maybe we'll go anyway see the fireworks :)

i hear the horse poop smell is really bad. so thats kinda making me not want to do it on the carriage, but i wanna do the carriage anyway. so i dunno we'll see. i wonder if the carriage goes to bow bridge.?

Nope -- closest you'd get in a carriage is the roundabout at the SW edge of The Lake. Two minute walk from there to Bow bridge.

Since the Fireworks are out I'm deleting the secret info :cool: .

btw: My understanding is the the Administrators can still view everything that is delected / edited on WNY (or so the Cat Woman claimed).

Id go for the bridge. Nothing worse than having a third wheel there when you propose. The bridge is much more romantic also.
