Chrysler & Empire State Building in one shot

I have seen this photos of Chrysler and the Empire State Building tops in one photo. I just don't know where it is taken from. I come to New York City often to take photos, but have not found yet the spot to take this photo. It might be from a Hotel, or a Building rooftop I think somewhere from either Turtle Bay or Upper East Side. Does anybody know where a view like this is possible? I am thankfull for any suggestions.

Roosevelt Island or the 59th Street bridge/tram are the only public spots I can think of. Many buildings on the east side have a better view such as Trump World Tower.

I think Derek3K3 is right...
If you want a shot like this one,
your gonna have to find someone
who lives or works up high on the East side.
Or maybe take a ride on one of those helicopter adventures?

Thanks for the suggestions. I should be higher up then street level, which is public. So I need to find somebody out there with this great view, that lets me into his place to take the shot. Or a doorman that lets me to the roof for a little tip maybe. :)

You can take the shot from LIC, Queens; that what I usually do.

I was looking for a view more like the image shown from scumonkey. I will need to be higher then street level. But hanks for trying to help.
