Snakes on a Plane billboard on the Marriot?

I was in Times Square last night (Wed 12/14) and saw a big billboard on I think it was the Marriot. It was an ad for Snakes on a Plane coming out in 2006!?

There were 2 cranes in front of the building so I am not sure if that sign was going up or coming down but does anyone know why they would have that - a movie from 2006 on that billboard in 2009? Were they filming a movie set in 2006?

Awhile back, I saw an ad for Rush Limbaugh's TV show in Times Square - they had taken down a bunch of billboards that had been placed over it over the years, and revealed that billboard, which had to be from the early 90s.

That sometimes happens - they take down an as, and as they strip the ads, it reveals some old ads long forgotten. I love to see those old ads coming out of nowhere, myself.
