Hi everybody, and happy new year

I'm a belgian student, i'm holding a Bachelor in Science of Accouting and my dream is to enter the Master of Science in Real Estate development at Columbia...I really love buildings but I have some questions:

- Is it hard to be admitted for this program? how many applicants have been admitted?

- What are my chances to be admitted...My TOEFL is 84%

thanks for you answers

Columbia is an Ivy League school, so naturally any of its programs are going to be very competitive for entry. Maybe check around on the Columbia website and see what the standards are for that particular program.

Grad school also focuses on what you have been involved with. SO sometimes charity work or your resume will go further than your strait GPA when applying to an unusual field.

I never thought that Real Estate Development would be an MS... I would think that it would be less science and more admin....

If you don't get into Columbia Baruch offers an MBA an MS in Real Estate.

TOEFL is generally only a formality on Graduate levels, if it is even required. It all comes down to your GPA and whatever standardized test they require, I would guess GRE. Good luck.
