If you don't speak Arabic, do you have any CDs of Middle Eastern music? Who is your favorite artist? I am Russian, but I love Middle Eastern music. My favorite artist is Cheb Khaled.

You can check out Peter Gabriel's soundtrack to "The Last Temptation of Christ".

The Beatles also had "Within You, Without You" and the excellent "Love You To".

I also love "Tomorrow Never Knows/Shivaya" by Jai Uttal and The Pagan Love Orchestra. I think this might be more Hindu / Indian than Middle Eastern, but still has a great vibe.

i'm glad to see you - i'm russian too:) among arabic singers my favourite is Myriam Fares: nice mix of the cool appearance with soft voice. however, her voice, sometimes, is terribale, but it may be pardoned -- she looks very well:)) next singer is Yara -- nice voice, btw, Arabic lang underlines female voice very well. hmmm...... i want to learn Arabic, but time... time where are You:)))

Middle East is my home, but I like few Middle Eastern music.

Arabic is hard for Arab themselves .

Do you know indespite of we are Arabs, we learn Arabic language in our schools, and I never got the fullmark !

Apart from the obvious middle eastern musical style and language, this appears not unlike many western music videos. Very commercial and, it seems to me, not just about the music.

Arabic is hard for Arab themselves .

look at the China -- their lang is really hard way:D yeah, i don't argue that Ar is quite hard lang, but i don't need ideal knowledge for it.


I like the Western more
