Hi there just came back from spending the weekend in NYC played hockey at the Lasker rinks Central Park north around 110th great complexe with 2 outdoor rinks one for hockey the other public skating, $8.00 for the whole day a great deal free parking on 110th.
dDd allot of driving, around ENY, man what a bad part of town if you still want 80’s look head out there many vacant lots still allot of garbage graffiti and boarded up buildings. Look under the el L line or 3 line it’s really very bad, the Bronx does not have this feel, I think this place has gotten worst over the past 5 years or at least since I’ve been there, very cool errie place to see.
Harlem, it’s al over, I’m now calling this place " THE NEW HARLEM ", did not see one trace of vintage Harlem, this place has changed so much it does not look like Harlem anymore all the spots that were down are now built up including Bradhurst and 145th Frederick Douglas 150th go down Adam Clayton Powell blvd everything has been re-built, it’s incredible, people out enjoyin life the quality of life in NYC has changed like nothing before, a great place to live right now albeit very expensive
Criss Crossed the Bronx and so many spots have changed, one throwback is 163rd and Brooks ave, check out that angle massive vacant lot with cars dead on it really a little look back at the 80’s but again this place everything has been rebuilt. Grant ave around 166th used to be vacant garbage lots, brand new highrises, telling you get there now
NYC is being eaten alive and what we liked for the past 40 years is 90% gone.
I'd love to live here, anyone want to hire a radio guy let me know...
