New Year in New York - 2008

Please can I get advice of where to go and what to do for New Years Eve 2008 in NYC??

I've read many internet reviews and looked on various website and can't decide if the reporters are giving genuine opinions or just trying to sell the big events!

Is Times Square worth it?
What is Central Park like?
Which bars and clubs will guarantee a good night?

Is Times Square worth it?ummm- let's see, Take it from someone who's
been through it more than once (and lives just blocks away).

Police searches:) cold
No Alcohol allowed:o cold
No place to relieve yourself:( cold
Takes forever to get out once your in...:mad: cold
And did I mention it's usually COLD?!

A: Only on TV ;) (while your at a good party somewhere else)!
