where to buy fabric in the garment district

where in the garment district can I but really beautiful fabric? I am mainly interested in faux fur right now, but am looking for other fabrics, also.:cool:

Actually for fur, you might be better off on 39th st between 7th and 8th- more stores- more choices.
Also 39th st. for notions (buttons, brik brac, boas etc).
You should also hit up Mood (the store they use on project runway) a little more pricey but they have everything.

If your looking for textiles more suitable for upholstery/curtains etc.- then 38th st- all stores
between 7th and 8th ave.
I live right there and use a lot of fabric.;)
