She has an attractive face and a nice, big, curvacious butt.
What do you think?

I think we should not reduce everyone to the level of sex object.

I have no comment. People say my mother looks JUST like her. Now that I think about it, she does.

Then your mother must be very goodlooking. :)

The Sarah Palin thread is less about her being a MILF, and more about her status as a national joke. I don't think that applies to Michelle Obama, or if you think I'm being partisan, to Laura Bush.
WNY shouldn't become a place where we degrade women just because they are famous, good looking, and have children.

I agree and I suggest that this thread be deleted.
Michelle Obama, Cindy McCain and Laura Bush are not going to be YouTube stars anytime soon.
Sarah Palin is running for VP and is fair game.
And she is agressively making an a-ole of herself, all on her own.

There all fair game, if you are going to be interviewed in prime time or some network or cable station is doing a special on them, well their fair game period.
This thread is not offensive to me, I ve read far worse things here about people's character and political belief's that should be removed or at least questioned.
The question here is should it be removed? I think for this site it maybe a little inappropriate but it is harmless
But they are all fair game, period

The question is not whether it should be removed (it shouldn't), but what tone this forum would project if we allow threads based solely on a woman's f**k-ability.
The forum membership is not all male.

I agree with stache, we shouldn't reduce someone to merely sex object, but this forum- Anything goes - is the appropriate place for it, in my opinion.

It's come up before - "Anything Goes" may be a poorly named forum.
It's a catchall for topics that don't fit in any of the other forum. It's not place for lowered posting standards.

The problem comes in the general classification.
The original MILF thread was skating a thin line from the get go, with some forum members (No names, I know how delicate our sensibilities can be...) getting pretty childish (almost locker-room like, sans the graphic depiction of events proceeding).
I think Michelle is an attractive woman, and the two have had cute kids. I think she is also a brilliant woman and an excellent speaker, much better than McCain's Barbie Doll, and much more likable than Palin's "I come from a small town (I bankrupted) and therefore I am the best person to be your Vice..um, what comes after Vice....?".
Anyway, I think this thread, if left on its own, would probably peter out. Maybe it needs a renaming to suggest attractiveness w/o being so in-your-groin obvious?

I vote to remove this thread. Reasons for which have already been stated.

Or, as a counterpoint, we need to start another thread:

I think that the Palin and Michelle Obama threads are pretty tasteless.
Couldnt we just discuss why Mozart and Bach has been banned in China instead, or for those who need to express their jollies here, a thread about Hollywood's Greatest Slave Girls?
I vote for Caroline Munro for her role in Sinbad (1974).

Lets leave this MILF business alone.

Yes, this topic is tasteless, I could understand the Palin one (since its more about poking fun at her weaknesses), but Mrs. Obama is just something we couldn't poke fun at :(.

I don't think that women in this day and age have egg shell sensibilities. If women on the forum were to make similar comments about men or if gay members were to make similar comments about other men, neither I nor any guy I know would care.

If people wouldn't keep posting here, the thread would die on its own.
Honestly, I don't see why so many people, in an effort to protect, can sometimes bring so much attension to something they abhor.
BTW, just to cover my own arse, this does not apply to everything, so lets keep the hair-splitting to a minimum.
Solution, remove "MILF" from both threads and get back to work.

Then both threads should be taken down, if thats what the polls say.
Last time I checked Palin has kids and little one's as well.
This isn't the forum for MILF'S if I want that there's plenty of that trash on the web for me to search on that topic
Do we let the ladies start threads of GILF'S, do we say thats fine and dandy.
Or let them have a couple before there is outrage, I for am not bothered by that stuff but just not on this forum.

The Palin MILF thread took on a more innocent tongue-in-cheek quality rather quickly due to what we did/did not know about her at that point in time, whereas with this one there seems to be no two ways about it... it's borderline sleazy and we all know it's not going to start up any constructive/political discussions. I say kill it off before we waste any more time on it.
Londonlawyer: surely you could find a website to direct your overflowing mojo at that'd be a million times more appropriate than here...? I mean I just don't get why your horndog side has to come out in so many of your posts.

If you guys would just cut it out, this thread would die already.
But before it does... I just want to point out that Michelle Obama looks exactly like what's her name on the left:

AND her fashion sense is perfect for these times.... you can do half of her wardrobe with old simplicity patterns. If I can sew, you can sew.

It was a joke. Do you think that the handcream comments are for real?
I thought that levity was permitted in "Anything Goes."
As far as the failure to embrace my jokes goes, do you remember the following lines from Stripes?
Psycho: The name's Francis Soyer, but everybody calls me Psycho. Any of you guys call me Francis, and I'll kill you.
Leon: Ooooooh.
Psycho: You just made the list, buddy. Also, I don't like no one touching my stuff. So just keep your meat-hooks off. If I catch any of you guys in my stuff, I'll kill you. And I don't like nobody touching me. Any of you homos touch me, and I'll kill you.
Sergeant Hulka: Lighten up, Francis.
