These photographs were taken while my friend and I were walking to the free kayaking station based by 72nd Street. These railway ruins were an eerie sight. It was tempting to swim to the metallic structures and explore the remnants of a long-forgotten crease in time.

These photographs of very different building types create an interesting juxtaposition as there structures aren't entirely unlike, one the result of the highest technology the other the result of fire and destruction. Nice post.
