I need a little help with some directions.
Walking north from City Hall: Is there an entrance to Columbus Park on Worth Street and an exit in the Bayard/Mulberry Street corner?
Also, from Bayard/Mulberry, what is the best (meandering) route to sample Chinatown - ending up at Mulberry & East Houston?

Can no one help with this?
Or is holiday time not a good time to ask?? :)

It's not a park I go by every day, bit I think there is an entrance on each end. There is a field in the middle, so you might not be able to cut straight through, if that's what you're wondering.
Check out Doyers St. in Chinatown, not far from Columbus Park.
ETA: I walked through yesterday and verified that the entries on each end are open.

Thank you NYatKNIGHT - I will adjust my walking tour accordingly.
Doyers Street will be included also - although my fellow walkers are likely to be wilting at that stage (we are starting/ending at Washington Square Arch and wandering for ten miles inbetween!)

Good area to stop for rest and a bite.

I think we will find a few of those!
I can't wait to be in your incredible city once again.
....thirty-one days and counting....!!! :)
