Anyway, you would be better off going into the burbs. There are farm stands (the ones that were able to outlast the Condo Invasion that is) all throughout LI, and NJ.

But if that fails you, you might be bale to get some at teh farmers market in Union Square.

As for WILD wild berries, I don't think anyone markets them commercially. You would have to find them yourself!

I got some locally grown ones at Fairway about three weeks ago - they weren't wild, but they had the strawberry flavor that most don't anymore.

didn't see them last week when I went -- season may be over.

Yea Fairway has good fruit. Everything is fresh from the garden, thats why middle aged ladies love that place
