Indentify the Location of This Building?

Do any of you NYC locals or experts recognize the building in the pic? There is a lady on another forum trying to get some vacation pics identified. All were figured out except for this one. After lurking around here for awhile, I thought that if there was someone who could figure this out, they would be from this forum. You guys are very impressive with your vast knowledge of NYC.
The only narrowing down done by the photographer is that she thinks she was around 5th Ave & 57th when she took it, but she's not positive. Thanks for any help anyone can provide regarding this building, it's address, or even approximate location would help.

OK. My apologies for the error. I tried to fix the link. I logged out and came back and looked at it as a guest and it showed up for me (but the last one did too???). If this doesn't work, I'll host the pic on my personal webspace and get the link up after work this evening.

I don't know what that building is called, but you've got the location correct. I think that's either 56th or 55th, just off Fifth.

I also don't know what this building is called. However, judging by what I think are the Olympic Tower and Look Magazine buildings on the left side of the photo, I would guess that this building is on 51st Street between Madison and Park.

Thanks alot for the replies. Eugenius, I think you might have it. By using Google maps & street view, it looks right. I can't look up like the view in the pic (using street view), but the rest looks right. Thanks again!

Not sure of the name, but I believe vid of it ^^^ was featured front & center on NY1 tonight during coverage of the steam pipe explosion near GCT ...

It's the 477 Madison Ave Building.
