ok im from england and am thinking of doing an internship with a marketing or advertising company in America, probably New York. is it possible for an English person to do this? how much money would i need for 6 months - 12 months? what are the entry requirements usually?

does anyone have a website link i could have to find out more about this? has anyone actually done this?

If it's an unpaid internship (i.e. you are not getting any compensation at all), you can do it even as a tourist. Don't know why you would want that, however.

If it's a paid internship, then you will need a work visa just like for any other job in the US, most likely H-1B. You have to plan it months in advance, and immigration websites will be of much better help for you than WNY.
