Hi everyone,

I've just moved to New York for my summer internship a month ago. My birthday is coming up in a weeks time and I wanna take my friends out for something fun. We have already been to Central park, Statue of Liberty, Time Sq/Madam Tussads, etc. I was thinking more in the lines of Paint-ball games, white water rafting, something outdoor and/or adventurous. However, we had already made reservations for paint-ball and rafting on other dates and would be difficult to change.

I need some help from you guys in deciding what to do or where to go. Any help is welcome.

Thanks.

Sorry if this was supposed to be posted on another forum.

You've been in New York for a month and you still don't know where to have fun?

[sounding like Schadenfrau ;) :D]

Well, I've run out the list of places I know of but I am sure there are a lot of other places, hence the thread :D

Places you mention sound like what you could do in Suburbia.

Suggestion: expand your horizon to New York types of things.

To do that: when your friends come to visit for the day, have no plan, just leave your place and wander aimlessly. You'll be amazed how quickly the city will rise to greet you with its jewels.

No boredom. Guaranteed.
