Hey,

i'm bringing my girlfreind, from Liverpool UK for NYC for 5 days, we're no snobs, and we're booked into Hotel Thirty Thirty, i've read some harsh reviews, has anybody stayed there,or offer any advice of cool things to do.

Obviously, she loves Macys, Bloomingdales, and MAC makeup, she is obsessed with Sephora, and handbags, is there more to NYC than meets the ( credit card ) eye?

Cheers,:)

Would it be silly to assume you would want to visit the Dakota/Strawberry Fields?

Just out of curiosity, WHY would you ask New Yorkers about how a hotel is? We live in our homes here...The big hotels, like the Ritz Carlton, St. Regis, Four Seasons, Hilton, are known entities, as there are other things that happen there..but this one? I don't think asking New Yorkers would be helpful.

I would suppose that one seemingly fancy hotel is about the same as any other seemingly fancy hotel.

Although, seeing as how I would wager you won't be spending much actual time in the hotel, I don't see any problem with the one you've chosen.

And, without knowing anything about you, I'm not really qualified to offer you advice as to what to do while you're in NYC. There are multiple threads on the subject, do a search.
